Announcing Glamoured to Life at Fan Festival 2023 in London Check-in Details and Cosplay Support
We're pleased to announce the check-in details for Glamoured to Life at the Fan Festival 2023 in London! Read on to find out what to expect for costumed attendees who preregistered for our cosplay walk.
Additionally, we would like to share information regarding the “Cosplay Repair Room” that will be available for use by all costumed attendees, regardless of stage show participation.
We can confirm that everyone who pre-registered via the entry submission form will be able to participate in the show. However, all cosplayers who wish to participate must first check-in at the info counter on site in order to obtain a Walk Slot Ticket, which must be presented to staff before walking on stage.
An extremely limited number of additional slots will be opened for last-minute registration, which will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis. Check-in for both participants who registered ahead of time and last-minute registrations will begin following the conclusion of the opening ceremony on Day 1 (Saturday, 21 October) at 11:30 (BST), at the info counter. We request that you please do not approach the info counter before this time to check in. If you have preregistered via the entry submission form, you do not need to approach the counter immediately after check-in opens - you may check in at any time during the check-in window.

Glamoured to Life - Cosplay Walk Check-in Location and Time Window
Day 1: Saturday, 21 October 2023 from 11:30 (BST) to 18:00 (BST)
Day 2: Sunday, 22 October 2023 from 10:00 (BST) to 12:00 (BST)

Upon checking in, you will receive a Walk Slot Ticket, which will display your walk slot number. This ticket must be presented to staff when gathering at the assembly point before the show. Please pay careful attention to your walk slot number and ensure that you do not lose your ticket, as no replacements will be issued. You will not be able to participate in Glamoured to Life without a Walk Slot Ticket, regardless of preregistration status.
If you preregistered for the event as a group, each group member will receive the same walk slot number. Members of your group do not have to check in together at the same time, but it is not possible to check in on behalf of another member of your group. Please ensure that you know your group password, as this will be requested upon check-in. Should you or any member of your group require the use of a ramp to access the stage, please inform the staff at the info counter upon check-in, who will record this requirement on your Walk Slot Ticket. If you require the assistance of a helper to access and/or move about on stage, please ensure that your helper checks in with you, as they will receive their own Walk Slot Ticket.
* Attendees who preregistered via the entry submission form must check in by 12:00 (BST) on Sunday, 22 October in order to confirm your participation and receive your Walk Slot Ticket.
* Upon check-in, you may be asked to present identification to confirm your age. Attendees under the age of 18 will not be permitted to participate in the event.
* All costumed attendees participating in our Glamoured to Life stage event must have agreed to both the terms outlined in the entry submission form and the Cosplay Guidelines upon preregistration.
* Any attendee in cosplay who registered their interest to participate in Glamoured to Life and checks in during the designated times will be eligible to receive their in-game prize, regardless of participation in the live stage event.
Glamoured to Life – Cosplay Walk (Stage Event)
Sunday, 22 October 2023 from 15:30 - 17:00 (BST)
You will receive further instructions upon your check-in. Participants must gather at the location indicated by check-in staff at 14:15 (BST) to prepare for the live stage event. Please arrive no later than 15:00 (BST). Participants who arrive later than this time may be denied participation in the event.
Upon arriving at the assembly point, you must show your Walk Slot Ticket to staff, who will then validate the ticket and permit you entry into the assembly point. If you are unable to take your Ticket with you on stage, you may leave it with staff and collect at it the info counter after Glamoured to Life has concluded. Please do not leave any personal belongings at the assembly point, as you will not be permitted to re-enter the assembly point after your walk slot has ended.
Once you have entered the assembly point, staff will assist you in lining up in the order indicated by your walk slot. Please carefully follow any instructions provided by staff, and do not attempt to swap walk slots with another cosplayer or group.
Each walk slot allows up to 30 seconds on stage, so please plan your walk and poses accordingly. Please obey staff cues and do not deliberately attempt to disrupt the show flow by spending excessive time on stage.
Cosplay Repair Room
We have created a space for attendees who may need to adjust or change aspects of their cosplay. We will also be providing a few items that may help with touching up or making minor repairs to a part of your outfit. There will be changing areas within the room (blocked by curtains), but these are not intended to be used as the main method for changing into or out of a cosplay. There are not enough rooms for everyone to use for that purpose, so please consider this an additional method to assist attendees who need to make minor adjustments or changes while at the event. Please do not use this room as a storage space for your cosplay parts or personal belongings.
Costume Guidelines
Please remember to adhere to our costume guidelines. Attendees with costumes that do not meet the criteria stated in the costume guidelines will not be permitted to participate in Glamoured to Life, and may be asked to leave the event hall.
