WHAT IS FINAL FANTASY XIV FAN FESTIVAL?
Fan Festival 2018-2019 is the third major event of its kind for FINAL FANTASY XIV. This global event is taking place across three different regions, in three major cities: Las Vegas, Paris and Tokyo! It’s a massive event built just for fans and features exciting announcements, development panels, in-game activities, merchandise, as well as amazing opportunities to play together in both in-game and live activities. Also it’s a great place to meet up with your fellow players and win some great prizes!

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE EVENT TAKE PLACE?
The FINAL FANTASY XIV FAN FESTIVAL in Paris will be held on Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris, France.
HOW DO I GET TO FINAL FANTASY XIV FAN FESTIVAL?
There are regular flights arriving in Paris main airports every day and they are well connected to the Paris City Centre. You can find more information here: http://www.parisaeroport.fr/en/homepage
There are numerous train stations in Paris that are within easy reach from other major European cities as well as within France.
Gare du Nord
The busiest railway station in Europe and the hub for trains arriving and departing Paris on the Eurostar. With Thalys the Gare du Nord also serves Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. Along with the local and national train lines this station is always a bustling beehive of activity with trains running to Northern France and the Northern suburbs of Paris.
Gare de l'Est
Located a short ten minute walk from Gare du Nord (you can also take the bus or metro). Connects to Gare Magenta. Trains go to eastern France and Germany plus the eastern suburbs of Paris.
Trains go to central France, Toulouse and the Pyrenees. Elipsos also runs trains to Barcelona.
Gare de Bercy
Trains to Italy and Burgundy.
Gare de Lyon
Trains to south-east France, Languedoc-Roussillon, Switzerland and Italy. Trains also run to the south-eastern suburbs of Paris.
Trains to western and south-western France and Madrid. Trains also run to the western suburbs of Paris.
Trains to Normandy and to the west and south-western suburbs of Paris.

How much does it cost?
Tickets will cost €124.99, inclusive of VAT and all fees for 2 days.
Please note that there is no 1 day option.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR FINAL FANTASY XIV FAN FESTIVAL?
You must be over 16 years of age in order to attend the Fan Festival in Paris.
- Visitors that are 16 years of age or older will need to present a valid photo ID in order to gain entry to the event.
- Visitors younger than 16 years of age must be present with a legal guardian at all times while at the event and may not be able to play the game.
- Some content may not be suitable for children.
*Each attendee (including legal guardians) will need his/her own ticket to access the event.
WHERE AND WHEN CAN I BUY A TICKET TO FINAL FANTASY XIV FAN FESTIVAL?
Tickets will be available on 23/07/18 for active players. General sales will then open on 30/07/18.

What does my ticket include?
Full access to the event, keynotes, concerts, exclusive merchandise, goodie bag, in-game items and much more!
Do I need to bring photo ID?
Yes, acceptable forms of ID to prove your age include:
- a photo driving licence
- a passport
- a national identity card
What is the refund policy?
No refunds, all sales are final. Please ensure all of your plans are in order before you purchase tickets.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Square Enix Ltd. shall issue refunds to original ticket purchasers upon request if Square Enix Ltd. cancels the entire event. All such refunds will be strictly limited to the amount the original ticket purchaser paid for the ticket on the Eventbrite website. Please contact Square Enix Ltd. at the applicable link below to request a refund if Square Enix Ltd. cancels the entire event. Square Enix Ltd. will respond to refund enquiries within five business days.
Can I transfer/sell my ticket to someone else?
No, tickets are non-transferable. IDs will be checked at registration. Only people whose name matches the name on his/her ticket will be permitted to enter.
How can I get the special in game items?
Fan Festival attendees will receive in-game item codes to redeem on the Mog Station. For non-Festival attendees, The SDS Fenrir mount and the minion will be available for purchase on the Mog Station.
The exact timing will be revealed at a later date.
Do I have to attend the event to receive my goody bag and in-game items?
Yes, you need to attend and be a ticket holder in order to receive the goodie bag. Ticket holders will also receive the in-game items via email.
In-game items may be available for purchase on the Mog Station.
Security and safety
Will there be security at the venue?
Yes, there will be security at the event to help ensure everyone is safe and has a great time. Bags will be checked upon registration and entry to the event. Please do not bring any blades, swords, lances, or any other dangerous or illegal items (or items that could be mistaken for dangerous or illegal items) to the event. Live animals are not permitted at the event (subject to local law). There is a strict smoking ban at the venue; no smoking (including electronic cigarettes) except in designated outdoor areas.
Guests who (i) are disruptive, disrespectful to guests or staff, or violent; (ii) are or appear to be inebriated or under the effect of illegal or illicit drugs; or (iii) fail to follow instructions on posted signage or provided by event or venue staff may be temporarily or permanently removed from the event.
Will there be first-aiders on hand?
Yes, first-aiders will be available throughout the venue.
Will there be disabled access to the venue?
Yes, the venue is set over several floors and has disabled access. If you have any special requirements please contact us ahead of the event by contacting the Support Center.
Will the event be loud?
While the general atmosphere should remain at a standard volume, there is a chance that the volume of the event will be very loud. We advise you to take precautions in advance and bring earplugs.
What contests can I take part in at Fan Fest?
We will of course have contests this year including a Cosplay contest. Please refer to the Activities page for more information.
Can I come in Cosplay?
Most definitely! We advise you to check the costume restrictions before coming to the venue and/or creating your costume. More information on the restrictions are available on the Activities page.
Are there changing rooms/locker rooms?
Yes, there will be changing rooms. The exact location will be indicated later.
Are there any restrictions?
Please refer to the Activities page for more information on the restrictions in place.
When and where are the registrations for the contest?
Registrations will be taken directly at the venue on the Saturday. For the exact times, please check the complete rules on the Activities page.
CAN I BRING STORAGE FOR MY COSTUME?
Only 1 cabin luggage size item (56cmx45cmx25cm) will be allowed in the venue to transport your costume. Any piece of luggage above the indicated dimensions will not be permitted inside the venue.
Will there be a cloakroom?
Yes, you will be able to store coats and bags in a designated area at the venue while you enjoy yourself.
Is there a lost property area?
Yes, there will be a lost property area.
WHAT WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY AT FINAL FANTASY XIV FAN FESTIVAL?
A wide range of FFXIV merchandise will be available at the venue. You will also be able to pre-purchase items (pending availability) and save time on queuing on the days of the event.
We will publicly post the merchandise page at a later date.
What language will the event be held in?
Although the event is happening in France, the European Fan Festival will be an international event and we will be hosting everything in English.
However, staff members throughout the venue will wear badges indicating the languages they speak.
Will there be food and drink available?
Yes, you will be able to purchase food and beverages at the event.
Can I bring my own food/drink?
Yes, but you may not bring alcohol. Don’t worry though, we will have food and drinks available for purchase during the event.
Can I bring a camera/video camera?
Absolutely, please do! We want you to have photos to remember your day! Please note that there may be some areas where, or sometimes when, the use of photographic or recording equipment is prohibited, but we will make it clear at the event when and where you can/cannot take photos.
WILL THE EVENT BE RECORDED/STREAMED?
Fan Festival will be live streamed on the internet.
The streams will be available free of charge.
All stage events, aside from the concerts, will be available on the live stream.
Can I leave the event and come back later?
You’ll be given a wristband when you enter, so as long as you keep that with you, you’ll be free to leave/return as you please. Please note that wristbands are non-transferrable, so you may not give your wristband to someone else, or receive someone else’s wristbands; anyone with a transferred wristband will be denied re-entry.

WHAT IS THE FINAL FANTASY XIV FAN FESTIVAL 2018 IN LAS VEGAS?
The Fan Festival 2018 in Las Vegas is a massive event built just for fans that features exciting announcements, development panels, in-game activities, live concerts, contests, new merchandise for sale, as well as opportunities to play with your fellow Warriors of Light in both in-game and live activities.
WHEN AND WHERE WILL THIS TAKE PLACE?
Fan Festival 2018 in Las Vegas will be held on Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
HOW LONG IS THE EVENT?
Fan Festival 2018 in Las Vegas is a two day event spanning Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17, and each day of the show will feature unique content. Badge pickup will begin on Thursday, November 15 to accommodate the large number of attendees arriving and picking up their badges. Attendees will be able to pick up their badge throughout the event and do not have to arrive on Thursday to do so.
HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS TO THE EVENT AND WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH A TICKET?
Each ticket costs $149.99 USD (plus taxes and fees). There is a limit of 4 tickets per order. Each ticketed attendee will receive a badge granting them access to the event on Friday and Saturday, two in-game items, and other FINAL FANTASY XIV-related goodies in a "goody bag" (with full details to be announced in the future).
ARE THERE SPECIAL VIP TICKETS AVAILABLE?
No, only general admission tickets will be available.
WHAT IN-GAME ITEMS ARE INCLUDED WITH A TICKET TO THE FAN FESTIVAL 2018 IN LAS VEGAS?
Attendees will receive two in-game items as part of their ticket purchase for the Fan Festival 2018 in Las Vegas: the SDS Fenrir mount and a minion (to be revealed in the future).
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND THE EVENT TO RECEIVE MY GOODY BAG AND IN-GAME ITEMS?
You must attend the event in order to receive your goody bag as it will not be mailed out separately. Details on how in-game item codes will be distributed will be available at a later date.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR ATTENDEES?
Yes, you must be 13 years of age or older in order to purchase a ticket to Fan Festival 2018 in Las Vegas.
Persons under the age of 13 are permitted to attend the event free of charge, but they must be accompanied by an adult with a paid general admission ticket at all times. Attendees under the age of 13 and without a general admission ticket are ineligible to receive a goody bag, participate in activities, contests, and other giveaways.
CAN I WEAR A COSTUME TO THE EVENT?
Yes, in fact we encourage it and hope you enter the costume contest as well! Please note that the full contest details, including restrictions on prohibited items, will be posted in the future.
I'M UNABLE TO ATTEND THE EVENT, CAN I BE ISSUED A REFUND?
No, all sales are final. Please ensure all of your plans are in order before ordering any tickets.

WILL THE FAN FESTIVAL 2018 IN LAS VEGAS BE STREAMED?
Yes, it will! The stream will be available free of charge and will include all stage content except for the concerts. No in-game items will be available as part of the free stream.
IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?
Yes, the lost and found will be located near the registration area. To help ensure that you are able to easily retrieve any lost items we recommend adding passcodes to your devices and unique markers to other items, such as books and bags, so ownership can be quickly confirmed.
